Celebrating 10 Years of Tove Valley Cottages!

Roy and Victoria Taylor opened the first 4 cottages at Tove Valley 10 years ago this Easter. From a local farming family, their love for the countryside gave them the idea to transform Heathencote a disused Dairy Farm into a stunning complex of holiday cottages. The character of the old farm buildings have been retained to give all the cottages a rustic charm alongside contemporary interiors.

From the initial 4 cottages Weasels Way, Owls Hoot, Pheasants Roost and Mouse House there are now a further 10 cottages in the grounds available to rent. Coming soon will be another 3 cottages, Rabbits Run, Deers Leap and Stoats Stroll. All the properties are named after wildlife that can be seen if lucky in the local countryside.

Victoria and Roy have worked hard to bring their vision of eco friendly Holiday Cottages to life. They wanted guests to feel relaxed and comfortable like a home from home, and that’s certainly what they have created at Tove Valley. With a fabulous children’s playground onsite and stunning walks directly from the doorstep, Tove Valley Cottages are an idyllic retreat for family and friends. As well as being dog friendly, the cottages feature a Bio Mass heating system powered by timber from the farm’s sustainable woodlands. So when you stay with us, you’re doing your bit for the environment too!

Victoria is at the helm running the cottages along with a dedicated team to ensure all guests have a wonderful holiday experience. The cottages are welcoming and spacious with exposed original brickwork and beams giving a glimpse as to how the old farm buildings once looked. But there’s definitely nothing old about the interiors of these stunning cottages. With contemporary kitchens, bathrooms and furnishings to make guests stays as comfortable as possible.
