Toad Hall was an excellent holiday cottage in a complex of about 12. Ideal for us visiting elderly grandparents in Towcester over Easter. Very clean, spacious and warm with good shared outside area. Well equipped, tho could do with a few more mugs, some more cutlery and better lighting in the en suite. To have three showers/bathrooms was an added bonus as we were a family of 5 adults. The en suite bath may need some sink blocker as it did not drain that well but not a major issue. Will definitely return.

Home from home , we have visited several times now and base ourselves in the one bed cottages usually hares scrape or partridge place , both the same but equally different in layout. Everything you need for a trip away from home Well thought out cottages, beautiful courtyards and secure site .

Easy check in with clear instructions. We were 6 adults and 2 children, cottage was very well equipped and plenty of space for us. The children loved the playground. Walked into Towcester during the stay via a footpath over the fields and stopped on the way at the Folly Pub along the way. Victoria was easy to reach on the occasion we had to and resolved the issue immediately (embarrassment from us for not locating the tv on / off button before asking Victoria!).

We loved our stay in Mole Hole at Tove Valley cottages. It is a lovely space, super clean and well located. The cottage was very well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the bed was very comfortable. We loved how quite the area was, and it was very well located.

We have just returned after spending three nights in Weasels Way cottage. Would like to thank everyone for making it such an enjoyable stay. The whole family and 2 dogs really enjoyed being in such a clean quiet and safe place. The cottage was extremely clean and very well equipped. The communication right from initial booking was excellent. Company very easy to deal with and plenty of useful information was provided. Would highly recommend. Hope to be back again soon

This is our third stay at Tove Valley cottages - twice at Rats Retreat and once at Pheasants Roost. The cottages are beautiful, well equipped and superbly finished and maintained and so easy to live in as a family. It's also perfect if you have a dog and children as there is lots of green space and a brilliant playground on site. Jenny and her team keep everything tidy and clean and are lovely. There's lots to do in the area; country walks, days out, pubs and restaurants, canal trips and Towcester Racecourse for fun. I'd recommend Tove Valley to anyone, and we will definitely return. Thank you Annie for everything :)

I had the loveliest of stays at Victoria’s. The heated floors were heavenly to come home to, the pup and I felt right at home. I would definitely recommend this little spot to anyone who needs a quiet, cozy little get-away.

I and the dogs had a lovely stay. It was 1/2 way between Banbury and Thrapston where family and friends are. Extremely quiet which was lovely. Sadly we didn’t have time to explore much locally. Towcester looks pretty and the surrounding countryside and villages are lovely. We were very comfortable at the cottage. If you have dogs be aware the gardens are not enclosed.

We booked Otters Holt as our base while visiting family nearby for a long weekend. There were lots of positives in relation to our stay: self-check-in, gated private space with plenty of parking, tidy and clean property, equipped kitchen which made self-catering extremely easy for us. We were extremely impressed and happy with our short stay and we'll look to book again in the future!

We traveled over from France for an early Christmas get together with family that we hadn’t seen for two years. Swallows swoop is set in a peaceful rural setting not far from Towcester which had all the shops we needed for the weeks supplies. The kitchen in the barn was well equipped and the bedrooms very comfortable. There were two fields in which to walk our dog and plenty of parking. Jenny the manager was very helpful and welcoming

We had two cottages Weasels way and Badgers Sett. Both were clean, warm and kitchen well equipped with plates ,glasses , cooking utensils. The play area was enjoyed by the children (aged 1-5). Plenty of parking and courtyard would be useful if it was sunny. Would be nice if high chairs were provided. We had a very enjoyable stay. We visited Rookery open farm which was great for the children and only 10min drive away. Would recommend.

What a fabulous place to stay, all the comforts required for our stay with our dog. Great to have Jenny living on site to quickly sort out two minor problems. Highly recommend The Folly for a beautiful meal which is within walking distance through the Race course. So many other things to enjoy close by. Would suggest more table wear as we were visiting family and would have invited them for food/bbq but they would have had to bring their own plates, glasses and cups. We had a great stay at Tove Cottages. Rats Retreat (despite the name!) was a lovely cottage - no rats in sight! The open-plan living area was a good size. The kitchen was well-equipped. With good weather the garden and patio would have been lovely to use. Unfortunately it rained almost non-stop for us! Lots of parking. Clean and well-presented. The booking process was straight forward. I think it offered value for money. Waitrose had no issues delivering to us, though several friends who visited struggled to find the place! It's great that there are different cottages of different sizes, but all close by, so that the different families in our group could stay for varying lengths in a cottage that suited them. We made very good use of the play area too - what a bonus! Stoke Bruerne, just down the road, made for a nice spot for a walk. Had a lovely lunch at The Boat Inn. We ordered and picked up Chinese from Hin's Kitchen (cash only) and it was delicious. All in all, Tove Valley Cottages worked perfectly for us, and we would definitely return if we are back again in the same area.

Excellent accommodation, we really enjoyed our time at Victoria's. Plenty large enough for 2 families and 2 dogs! Absolutely wonderful pub, The Folly in walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk there and found short cut on the way back! Do not hesitate, the pictures don't really do it justice. Very well thought out layout.

Our guests stayed in the cottages at Tove Valley for our wedding weekend and we received so many comments regarding the quality of the accommodation and the lovely rural setting. The pics on the website don’t do the cottages justice! Also, the Tove Valley staff could not have been more helpful - Annie in particular was super responsive and happy to answer our many(!) questions which made our lives much easier! 'The Mouse House' is a lovely little mansion in the middle of the Northamptonshire countryside, but close enough to Towcester for your resupplies and plenty of restaurants. It is very well equipped, lovely and warm and is thoughtfully designed to make best use of the space available, with an induction hob and microwave in the open plan kitchen and everything you need to cook with. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet and cannot recommend the house highly enough, it is a little gem.

My daughter and her five bridesmaid stayed at Badgers Sett the night before her wedding last week. The downstairs living area was amazing in size and comfort and was fitted out brilliantly with everything you could possibly need. The whole complex is incredible. Annie couldn’t have been more helpful and any queries were answered immediately, either by her or Victoria. I cannot rate this property highly enough, but the only downside is, if there are more than two of you, I.e. six, then be prepared to queue for the bathroom!

The location of Tove Valley Cottages is beautiful and quiet. I have stayed in the Mouse House twice on company business, both times I have been very comfortable, good Wifi and all the self catering amenities I required. The only thing I couldn't find was an iron but I also didn't enquire with the very helpful onsite team. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Badgers Sett! The beds were all extremely comfortable and the cottage, well appointed. The grounds/common space was very charming as well. The area is very quiet and the coded entrance gate offers extra peace or mind for the security conscious. An added bonus is the wonderful playground that our five-year-old thoroughly enjoyed (especially the trampoline). Travel tip: If you are a light sleeper and require complete darkness, bring an eye mask as two of the three bedrooms have skylights that don't have shades, so it is quiet bright once the sun comes up. Victoria was great with communication and getting back to our queries. We'd highly recommend Tove Valley Cottages!

Partridge Place in Heathencote is a lovely place to retreat to whether on a business trip or on holiday. It has a tranquil setting and the accommodation is of really good standard. It's conveniently close to Towcester that one can walk to that Roman town and enjoy what it has to offer. Host Victoria is quick to respond to any queries and provide guidance which is a key point for me.

This is the third time we have stayed at Tove Valley cottages and our second at Mouse Hall. It is ideal - spacious, very clean and comfortable. We love the spacious open plan living area. The immediate surroundings are perfect for dog walking. The quiet and peaceful atmosphere is welcome but Towcester has all needed in terms of facilities. Plenty to do in lovely south west Northamptonshire and slightly further afield - all easy to get to. We definitely will be returning. Many thanks.

Lovely property on a secluded complex of farm conversion style properties. Rooms were spacious and fitted our party of 3 adults and 5 children perfectly! The garden is a great space as is the children's playground which we didn't know was there (massive trampoline). Great location and we had lovely days out at Stowe NT, Salcey Woods and Willen Lake. Good wifi, comfortable rooms, well equipped kitchen, and when I tried the footpath up through Towcester Race course to Towcester main road, I was impressed at how close to a vibrant village / town high street it was, whilst being out in the countryside itself. Very relaxing, quality accommodation. Highly recommend!

This converted barn is beautifully presented and well stocked. The patio was perfect and the large kitchen-diner-lounge suited our party very well. The beds are comfortable and showers and bath worked well. The location is quiet with lots of parking which is great if everyone is arriving from different directions!

Very spacious converted barn, beautifully decorated and presented very clean and well stocked. Outside space was particularly enjoyed in the sunshine as it is just outside the big kitchen-diner-lounge. Other guests in nearby space in the courtyard were friendly but not intrusive. Bedrooms were large and airy with comfortable beds and good showers and a bath. Keybox made checking in and out very easy and Victoria responded immediately to any messages. Location needs a car but there was plenty of parking so for a friends get together it was perfect. Enjoyed a walk along the canal at Stoke Bruerne with good pub options.

We had a wonderful , relaxing stay at Weasels Way. The space is huge and accommodated our group of 6 with bags of space. It is very well equipped for eating in and plenty of places within easy reach to eat out or dine in. Lots of country walks from the door and a lovely outdoor seating area which is a sun trap.

Excellent place, great location, lots of great restaurants close by. We have been several times now and it’s always been great, you have everything you need, it’s a nice quiet place with some lovely grounds, if you do need anything they are always very helpful. The cottages themselves are well maintained and the interior is like modern mixed in with the barn look which I love, lovely high ceilings with skylights which give them amazing light and because of the underfloor heating there so warm and cozy if you stay in the colder months, we will be staying again, definitely recommend and have done already.

Stayed at Swallows Swoop over the Easter weekend as we had tickets to the museum at Silverstone only 10 minutes away. Very clean and well laid out with a lovely setting at the front by the pond. Would recommend this complex to anybody wishing to get a long weekend getaway.

We finally had our family Christmas due to it being cancelled last year due to Covid. We hired 2 cottages, Mole Hole and Weasel’s Way. We we very happy with both. The facilities were excellent. The cottages were spotlessly clean and spacious, especially Weasel’s Way, there was plenty of room for 8 of us. The cottages were very warm, too warm at times but when I texted the owners to ask to turn it down this was answered straight away. The cottages were very bright and airy, the beds very comfortable and the kitchen (Weasel’s Way)had everything we needed to cook for 8 people. Mole Hole was a cosy cottage for 2 people, my daughter loved it! We will definitely book again, hopefully for next Christmas!

Our first stay at Tove Valley Cottages was exactly what we hoped it would be, always a bit nervous when staying somewhere new. The Mole Hole is ideal for two people, very comfortable bed, great shower, good kitchen facilities ( which was perfect as we had to cancel a restaurant visit and could prepare dinner in the cottage). Very quiet, restful surroundings for a three night stay.

Fabulous place to stay. We stayed for 3 nights and in a mix of 1 bedroom and 4 bedroom cottages. Everything is of the highest standard and absolutely spotless. We were working at an event and at the end of each very long day coming back to the cottages was very welcoming and the perfect place to switch off, grab a hot shower (the showers were amazing) and unwind. We stayed in the Tove Valley cottages now for several years as a team taking part in the MotoGP World Championship. First we chose it because it is very close to the race track, but quite soon it was clear to us that we found a very cozy home away from home. The cottages have been created in a very beautiful way and in a very quiet area, so you can really calm down after a busy day at the circuit. We love it and want to come back many years more.

We have recently returned from a Family holiday, hiring 3 cottages. On arrival we were met with a very warm welcome from Jenny and she ensured all was OK for us. The use of the central grass area and the open sided barn which surrounded our 3 cottages was a brilliant outdoor area for us to all get together for a family barbeque and spend hours of fun and drinking together, in a social distanced environment. Cottages were all of very high standard and well equipped. Lots to see and do within a 15 mile radius of the cottages, for adults and kids. Would highly recommend it for small or large parties as each cottage had its own outside area. Already looking to book next year for a repeat family break.

We have just returned from a fabulous family weekend stay at Weasels Way. This was our third trip to Tove Valley Cottages and it as usual it did not disappoint. The property was extremely clean and well maintained and we had all the amenities we needed. The open plan layout worked really well for 3 generations of the family and the play area was a massive hit with the youngsters. The weather was good enough to sit in the outside area which had plenty of seating for us all. A highlight was a trip to Stowe which was beautiful and recommended by the owner. “A wonderful venue, very comfortable and brilliant location for the racecourse. We went to the dog races rather than the horses which was great fun and 2 minutes in the car or 10 walking. The house has everything you need , was warm, comfortable with ample room for the 6 of us. 3 bathrooms with one on the ground floor which was great for my elderly parents . For those with young children there is a lovely play area too. The entire complex would be great for a small family like ours or for a larger group who could hire the entire complex. The cottage itself was perfect for our needs a huge lounge dining area with 3 sofas and a big dining table. There was an outside comfy seating area but due to the weather we did not make use of this. One lovely master double bedroom and three twins one with en suite and one bathroom. We went into Towcester and Stony Stratford for drinks and food. "Just enjoyed a week visit to Mouse House at Tove Valley Farm Cottages and loved it. Everything was clean and the kitchen well-equipped. Free wi-fi with good signal and a great play area for children. My granddaughter visited while we were there and loved the full sized trampoline on site. The outside space is picturesque, all of the courtyards in between the cottages have bundles of soft outdoor sofas and rattan table and chairs for you to use to sit and have a glass of wine or eat alfresco. The owners are available to contact at all times and respond almost immediately. I left an iPad there by mistake and they have locked it away for me as we are back next week, staying there again due to our house purchase taking a bit longer to complete. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for a little bolt away in the Northamptonshire countryside"

Two *tiny* things to mention would be that there are some low beams, so beware if you're quite tall (all of these have clear warning signs on them in fairness) and there isn't a vacuum in the cottage. Other than that, we truly have no complaints!

We have been staying in Swallows Swoop this weekend! Absolutely beautiful cottage with all the equipment you could ever possibly need for a stay here. Very comfortable, cottage set in the countryside over looking the pond. Due to extremely bad snow and road closures we asked to extend our stay by another evening and Victoria was more than accommodating and very welcoming. Would strongly recommend staying here and plan to come back for a longer stay again!

Beautfully clean and peace sanctuary from what has been a particularly stressful time inbetween house moves. My dogs were welcomed and therefore I dint have to organise kennels which they would have hated. I have had to extend a few days at a time as we have been left unsure by solicitors.
